Starting Salary

• Entry-level/Police Officer Trainee (Non-POST Certified): $68,000
• Lateral/POST Certified Police Officer: $73,000 (1-3 years), $75,000 (4-7 years), $77,000 (8+ years).
• DIVE, SWAT, and Crisis Negotiations Teams: $2/hour counts towards OT
• Honor Guard: $1/hour counts toward OT
• Extra Duty Pay: $50/hr for recurring jobs, $60/hr for special events, and $75 for events on city holidays
• Shift Differential Pay: 7% added to base pay when working between 2p-9p, and 10% added to base pay when working between 9p-7a
• On-Call Pay: $250/week when required On-Call
