Starting Salary

• Entry-level/Police Officer Trainee (Non-POST Certified): $65,000
• Lateral/POST Certified Police Officer: $68,000
• DIVE, SWAT, and Crisis Negotiations Teams: $2/hour counts towards OT
• Honor Guard: $1/hour counts toward OT
• Extra Duty Pay: $50/hour-$85/hour paid through City payroll and counts toward retirement
• Shift Differential Pay: 7% added to base pay when working between 2p-9p and 10% added to base pay when working between 9p-7a
• On-Call Pay: $250/week when required On-Call
